03/22/05 | Russ B | I believe the #14 in this album is indeed Bob Rossell in the Barney / Morrison owned pinto. Siscone later raced their #14 cars (with great success!). Siscone's first #14 ride was a Flemke built Plymouth Arrow bodied car that was purchased shortly after this period of photo's. . |
03/23/05 | 3-Wide | I still don't think we have all of these labeled
correctly. For you guys in the know... and if you are really sure, please specify
which picture (for example: top row, 3rd picture... or 4th row, 2nd picture....
and then provide the correct car # and the driver. These pictures are great, but they were sent in as very small files and if I increase their size, they will get real blocky looking so all help is appreciated. |
04/27/05 | Kevin Newman | 4th row last pic #14 is Bob Rossell...5th row last pic is Lenny Boyd in Sculthorpes 2jr |
05/04/05 | Jerry H | do believe driver in 4th row 1st pic is kenny cramner |
09/03/07 | Ed Ward | I remember Gary Winter's first trip to Freeport with the #380. It was great, here was this beautiful brad new chevy monza. The flag flew and before the race was over - somehow he was in the wall and Chargin' Charlie won the race.... He chased Charlie all over the pits... what a riot! |
09/14/07 | Robert Comerford | This was the second X6 bought by Don Ling and driven by my father. The first was an old camaro bought from Bill Brice nicknamed the lead sled. The next X6 was built by Bobby Vee and Bob Cuneo and one of the first Chassis Dynamics cars built. Bobby drove it for one year and then sold it to Don Ling. |
09.10.09 | KEVIN BROWN | MY NAME IS KEVIN BROWN. MY FATHER ED
BROWN OWNED MANY VINTAGE MODIFIEDS BACK IN THE 1960'S AND 70'S.
TONY SISCONE DROVE FOR MY FATHER BACK IN THE 70'S THE MOST FAMOUS OF WHICH WAS THE BLUE 21X PINTO, WHICH TONY DROVE UP UNTIL THE TIME MY FATHER SOLD IT. AROUND 1979 OR 80. MY FATHER AND I ARE LOOKING FOR THE 21X PINTO THAT TONY DROVE FOR HIM. ALL HE REMEMBERS IS THAT HE SOLD IT TO A CONTRACTOR WHO LIVED AT THE JERSEY SHORE SOMEWHERE. MY FATHER JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT A MODIFIED THAT WAS DRIVEN BY BOTH TONY SISCONE AND CHARLIE CRAMER. IN FACT, IT STILL HAS CHARLIE CRAMER'S NAME ON THE ROOF OVER DRIVERS WINDOW. WE ARE TRYING TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS CAR. TONY THINKS IT ORIGINALLY HAD A 1984 OLD FIRENZA BODY ON IT WHEN HE DROVE IT. IF ANYONE HAS KNOWLEDGE OF THE CARS CHARLIE CRAMER DROVE, PLEASE CONTACT US, SINCE HE WAS THE LAST ONE TO DRIVE THIS CAR, YOU MAY HAVE SOME USEFUL INFO FOR US. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF RESTORING IT THIS CAR AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BLUE 21X PINTO. YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION CALL US ASAP THANKS, KEVIN BROWN |
