Interesting to see wedge shaped derby cars on the raised platform. Wonder if the racers ever thought their coupes would evolve into that futuristic derby car styling...... |
| 02.09.16 | 3-Wide | I'm thinking at this time (1970) car builders and racers couldn't imagine that the rules for "stock car" racing, within less than a decade, would abandon one of it's key points and that is that the car had to have an American made stock body. You're right though Tom... If those little cars were a little taller, they'd look like today's "modifieds." |
