Comment from MJ Henry: This is Wm J Henry Jr. in his first
ride at the Alcyon Speedway in Bill Vail's Champ Car. There's only my
Dad's notes on the back of the photo. Taken in 1946. I wonder if this is the same Vail family that ran a stock car at the speedway thru until the closing in the mid 60s?. My Dad passed in 1993. |
