| 04/30/03 | Doug Leubner | This guy new the term "hammer down". I remember when he was at Flemington with the URC and be in total awe as too how fast John was turning the laps. I believe he was killed in a sprintcar crash at Jennerstown in Pa.....thanks John for the memories. |
| 04/30/03 | scott werkheiser | Thanks for posting the picture of John.I was a crew member of the #200 urc sprinter that John built. John left us at Jennerstown Speedway in August of 1978 if i remember correctly. I also think he won the feature at Flemington the night of this picture. |
