| Comments: | Comment: Herb(?) Stout #9, and Dave Gunther #2 get together between turns 3 & 4 at Flemington. Carmen Leggio #75 makes a move to the right and is able to squeak by, but Sug Byerly #31 has nowhere to go as he first makes contact with the right front tire of Gunther's #2, and with the tire acting as a ramp, and the momentum of the #31 pushing Gunther's #2 over on it's side, Byerly's #31 goes up and over the #2. The #2 continues to roll side over side, while the #31 eventually lands on all 4 wheels a little further down the track as driver's Billy Matthews #57, Gene Gilligan #Freedom #18, Russ Thatcher #7 and Lee DeVault #22 do their best to avoid contact. |
