Driver is Ed Thompson of Oswego. This is the former Hemi Hawk mid-engine super originally built by modified car owner Ed Cloce and driven by Guy Chartrand. The car was purchased by Thompson who campaigned it in this configuration for a few seasons before new track rules outlawed the engine placement. Thompson later moved the engine forward to comply with the rule. Ed passed away in March 2015. |
