know, you turn around and suddenly it's 30 years later.... Here's a picture of Bruce Hooper, next to a black #08 from the mid 70's... and while hairstyles have changed just a bit, this is a scene that you can still see repeated each Saturday Night at the New Egypt Speedway. Great to see "Hoop-D-Doop" having a couple of great runs last year (2005) at New Egypt Speedway in the very tough modified class. I'm not sure, but I think Bruce was also involved with Wilbur Force's efforts before driving himself. Wilbur often drove a black #808. |
