Comments: Dave Bodine in the Paul Marra owned "No Frills" #114.  Dave drove the #69 Sportsman at Flemington in the mid 80's before stepping up to the modifieds.  Paul (who must have stumbled onto the Fountain of Youth in search of power at Pulcin Machine) has been a real strong Sportsman competitor in the last few years at Bridgeport in the 93.3 car!

01/03/04 Kevin B.. Phil Meisner also drove for this team during the mid 80s!
01/21/04 Tony A. In addition, Stan Ploski, Fred Rahmer, Paul Rochelle also drove the 114 car. The first 114 frame was built by Chris Gartmyer and had the engine and driveline offset to the left.  Paul's front engine accessory drive (fuel, oil, power steering pump) was a real work of art.  Don't under estimate an old Italian.
01/21/04 3-Wide No frills doesn't mean no finess.....   That's what made this sport so great... the originallity and the ingenuity....
03/07/04 Tony A. In addition to the drivers of the 114, Bill Erico also drove the car a few times.  Also, Paul Marra himself drove the 114 in a heat race at Flemington, wound up against the fence, but got it around good for a first time in a dirt car.  As info: Paul was an accomplished drag racer before he seen the light in dirt oval racing. Thanks, Tony A.
12/05/06 PJW If I remember correctly Dave put this car over the fence between 1&2 in late 80,s.  Boom truck pulled it out from stands then swung boom over fence without bringing boom back in.  Boom Truck and 114 both rolled over onto track.
