| 01/02/03 | Todd J | This was what it was all about! Often times the fastest car on the track, Billy Brennen would often have some kind of mechical woes before the finish of the race. The Chrysler Hemi powerplant was a beast. I used to go to school with Billy's kids and many times Billy would be at our soccer games on Saturday morning and we'd be there Saturday night watching him race. A few years ago I helped on Mr. Brennen's car (Billy's Dad) modified. I always had a good time with that crew. There was a lot of racing and story telling to be heard in that garage on a hot summer night.... I would do just about anything to see Billy out there in a fuel injected Chrysler Hemi... |
| 07/26/03 | Kevin Budden | During that period at Bridgeport I don't know who's car rattled the stands more, Billy Brennen's HEMI, or Ron Tobias in the 901. my buddy Earl and I couldn't wait for either of these mighty mods to appear on the track. it just seems that they make the cars to quiet these days!!! |
