| 06/26/06 | Jeff McClung | Speaking with Ken at New Egypt one night I got interesting info on this car, it is a Rittenhouse kit car, not sold as a complete chassis but in pieces to be welded together by the purchaser. I wonder if anyone else sold kits like Rittenhouse? I was also told that it was a very economical way to build a car. This is one of my favorite 70's era modifieds. |
| 06/26/06 | 3-Wide | Somewhere around here I have a catalog from "Profile" and it seems to me you could buy all the pieces and assemble it yourself. Think the whole chassis and cage was about $750 or so... |
| 11/19/06 | Michael S. Brown | This is one of the frames I welded for Ken, and Ebby Ridge.  It is a
COPY of a profile frame WE cut the pcs and put it together. The Gremlin body was
originally yellow, when it was yellow It had a terrible wreck right on the front stretch at the end of the season. I have rarely heard such hard hits and then silence I will never forget that red flag all had already stopped.. We worked for weeks getting it back together (nope he was not hurt). |
