| Comments: | Comment: There's a great story about this #100... A former Buzzie Reutimann car that was purchased by Bobby Thomas. The way the story goes, Bobby negotiated to buy the car right near the end of the season (not sure of the year... but it was the early 70's.) Knowing that Buzzie would be incurring an expense in towing the car back to Florida for the winter, Bobbie made Buzzie an offer on the car (I don't think Buzzie was really planning on selling it) and as you can see, the deal was done and Bobby ended up with a "Buzzie Reutimann coupe", which he renumbered as the #100 and if I remember correctly, had Jim Hoffman do most of the driving. |
