| Comments: | Comment from Daniel: Here is a photo of Garry with my father Dan Smith at the beginning of the racing season with their new falcon bodied sportsman racer. I have heard that green is supposed to be bad luck but they won a handful of races with this car. Garry was a great driver and my father a well respected mechanic in those days. Of all the cars my father put together this was my favorite. He would always drop me off at the backstretch gate so I could see all of the cars heading in the pits! |
