| 12/30/02 | John Mc | This car was built by Budd Olsen for Tri-State @ Harmony in 1971. It was very fast( I remember Olsen beating Cagle w/ it one night) and it was sold to Brenn late the same year. Ploski won everything in sight w/ it, then it became Jr.'s rookie car the following year. I guess you could say this car may have started Olsen in the car building business. Thx, JMc |
| 06/03/03 | Brian Loutrel | John Mc has the history of this car down cold. This was my favorite Brenn car that Stan drove. A typical Olsen car, with clean lines and ahead of its time. I remember the closing modifed feature race at Flemington in 1971. Stan won it in this car by overtaking Mike Grbac in the King Chevrolet #7 sedan coming out of the fourth turn to the checker. What a race! |
