| Comments: | Comment from Russ: This is a photo of Ken Wismer with Dr. Don Tarr's "Tar Baby" 25A. I question whether it would be politically correct in todays world. I saw the car run at Nazareth. I sent it in to go along with the article sited on the message board about Dr. Don Tarr's racing career. The article states the car was built in 1964, so that is the date I'll place on the photo. | 05/16/07 | Ken Wismer Jr. | Yes that car was built 1964 by Spud Murphy, alias George Gordan. I think that is Allentown Fairgrounds. |
| 05/17/07 | Rob Renninger | It is most certainly the Allentown Fairgrounds. This is the car Kenny Wismer won his last feature in at Nazareth Speedway. If I remember correctly he started on the pole and out lasted a non stop 25 lap feature. Because the race was non stop he made the comment after the race that he was so tired he could hardly turn the wheel entering the turns. |
