| 01/01/07 | Walter Onora | Yes, I remember this stock car!! The division was still know as the Ltd Sporstman Division(pre-cursor to the small block modified division) This division was pretty competitive back then. Great looking coupe!! |
| 01/02/07 | BOBBY FIORELLO | THIS CAR WAS AS FAST AS IT LOOKS, BUT JOE DIDNT CARE ABOUT WINNING - JUST LOOKING GOOD AND NOT GETTING IT ALL BANGED UP, H E RACED JUST FOR THE FUN, THEN RETIRED TO GO ONTO HIS OWN BODY SHOP AND TOWING BUSSINESS I REMEMBER. |
| 02/13/07 | Tony A. | Here's a guy that could build a Ford engine. The last car Joe built was a Pinto bodied car, using a 330 c.i. FE Ford truck block (c.i. limit was 339 in the sportsman division) with Chrysler 340 pistons, cobra jet heads and manifold, 427 mechanical valve train. The car was the same color blue and number 16, this was sometime in the early to mid 70's. You have to be a Ford FE engine fanatic to appreciate a combination like that. |
