| Comments: | Comment from Matt: Here is a pic of the Triple S in front of my Uncle's garage in So. Amboy. A real classic looking old stock car. This was the car they ran w/ drivers like Ed Farley, Pete Frazee and Bob Malzahn before the Fireball 99. Pic was taken by my cousin, Peggy Batissa, w/ an old Kodak box camera. |

| 11/02/06 | Bob Scott | I remember more of this car at Old Bridge with Bobby Malzhan. Question for
    Matt, When did Frazze drive it as don't remember that? Know that Pete drove the
    Wagner=Heptman 106/Racz 41/Johnson 68/Ackerman 2 /Atwood 9/Hoehle Mark1/Gundecker 124-127
    and a Dick Barney B-24(before he changed to the red #14 of Kelly & Dallenbach etc
    fame). Also was Malzhan in the SSS when he went over the 3rd turn wall @ OB into the woods one afternoon leaving the whole rear end on the track on the fence or was this his own fireball 99? |

| 11/4/06 | Ned Stites III | I remember in 1960 seeing Bob Malzahn in the #SSS (1937 Ford coupe) at
    Flemington. He was definately a top contender every week. In 1961 Bob moved to Harold Cope's #1 and ran at Middletown, NY on Saturdays. I then remember seeing Ed Farley in the #SSS at Flemington afterward. In this photo is a 1938 Ford coupe version of the car. Ed drove the #SSS and then I don't remember seeing it anymore. After Bob Malzahn parted with Harold Cope is when I first saw the #99. This combination of car and driver were a potent force, especially in long distance events. My dad and I always liked the #SSS, #99, and the #1. I never had the chance to meet Bob Malzahn and that has always been a dissapointment to me. He always made his presence known when he was on the track. One of my all-time favorite drivers. Ned |

| 11/07/06 | Matt | I spoke w/ Pete Frazee at one of the Legends of the Fall shows at New Egypt a few years ago and he actually told me he drove for my Uncle in the late 50's. I guess before my Uncle and Bob Malzahn were together full time. |

	 I met Bob many yrs. later when he worked at Newton Speed. I also saw him in Hallandale Fl. in 1958-9 |

| 06.04.21 | John Wohlgemuth | I was told that my dad Pat Wohlgemuth Sr also drove the SSS when Bobby Malzahn left that ride my dad drove for them at Flemington and once at Nazareth. |
