| Comments: | While most pictures show Billy in the Starewide #3, Ferrioulo #73, Norcia #81, Dornberger #99 and others, here's a great shot of the Triple 3 that is the first car that I remember Billy driving. I think the car may have been campaigned with the same colors and # by Tommy Gilman once Billy stepped out of the car. |

| 07/31/04 | Alan Sakowsky | I remember this car at East Windsor in 1969 as always a front runner that was somehow Snake-bit. It seemed that every Friday night that year Osmun would have this car well ahead and somehow either an accident or a mechanical break down would happen and Will Cagle would win. Osmun had much better luck in the black/gold #81. |

My father was the owner of the  Jerry's Shell tow truck
the Orange 333 is sitting on.  I was less than a year old when this was
taken.  I heard a lot of great stories from back then.  Sadly, the most
vivid racing memory was the Schaefer race where Billy and Gary in the King
73's were the cars to beat.  It was the first year the of the start under
your own power rule.  Standing on top of Billy Camper and dad says Billy did
not move.  The tow truck tapped the back of the 73.  It roared to life and
the fastest lap of day occurred.  Flying on pit lane Billy was out of the
car and into the Winnebago sitting in the diver's seat until the race was
over.  The intensity of frustration grew exponentially as the race wore on
and the 73 was given the checkered flag just like Billy knew was going to
happen.  The wrong 73 winning his race at a track he drove as well as
	anyone. |

| 06.30.14 | 3Wide | I wasn't at Syracuse but just to make sure I understand what you are saying, Billy was in one of the King #73 and Gary Balough was in the other - Did Billy's car fail to start under it's own and as a result, could not compete in the event, and did Gary Balough go on to win that day? |

He also had this car at Reading in 69. Isn’t this the car that was the former Rossell car? Blue #4 I think? Met Billy at a race on the ¾ track. Kenny was in the Statewide macadam car (which wasn’t performing well that day) so Billy was sitting up in the stands. We spoke for a short time. |
