| 07/04/04 | Terry Kelleher | That car always had a special sound to it. The Chevrolet powered cars would scream down the chutes. But the the Xl-1 would rummble with a deep "base" sound vibrating every bone in your body as it went down the frount stretch near to where you were sitting. Back then no modified had power steering yet, it took one hell of an effort to man handle that BIG heavy Ford. |
