| Comments: | Comment provided by Russ Dodge: Here's a picture of Dudie Babey (they pronounced it Bobby) from Raritan, with the J.G. Auto Body car at Flemington. This car was light tan with an orange roof and black fenders. It was unique in the "J.G". was it's number or Letters! Dudie was a rookie in 1959 and later drove the 43 of Jim Horton in 1965 This is a copy photo from an original sold at the speedway. The name is printed on the front under the picture. No photo credit was on the back when I bought it. So if anyone has a Flemington shot similar with a drivers name printed under the picture, let me know who the photographer was. I always put the name on the back of pictures when I find out. To my knowledge it's 1961 but if this incorrect let me know. Thanks, Russ Dodge |

| 06/20/03 | Walter Onora | I remember Dudie Babey driving a tan 14a at Flemington and at Nazareth National in the late 60's. Also a no. 5 (might have been the Butler mount) Also, He drove Newt Hartman's 24 at an Old Timer's race at Flemington back in the 80's. Does anybody have any pictures of any of these cars (either the 5 or the 14a)? |
| 01/25/04 | Carl Suk | The old tan 14a was my cousin's car Lee Sofield |
