| Comments: | Comment from Russ: The 711 pictured in 1958, is near the top of the list of beautiful race cars. Painted white with blue trim and red numbers, the neatly "trimmed" 1937 Ford, was a knock out! I remember Bob Williams as the steady driver, going on the back stretch at Alcyon with the tri-powered engine producing a "note" of it's own! (using the word "note" for the coon hunting dog people). 'Throatty" is the only way to describe the sound. Looking in Bill Skinner's Alcyon record Bible for information, I found the name Wes Seymour as the owner. I believe the car ran Hatfield also. I hope that some of you guys can supply more info on this neat car. Thanks |

| 06.06.12 | George Perkins | What a great looking car. I'm struck when I look at cars from this era, what we know as "modifieds" and how they relate to the street stocks of today. |
