| Comments: | Comments provided by Russ: This is a picture of the Williams # 44 built by Ken Marriott, as it sits on the trailer in the snow, waiting to head for Daytona Beach in February, 1958. Note the car has Plexiglas in the window openings and the wiper necessary to remove salt water, sand and sea gull blood! For me, this was the classic 1937 Ford coupe stock car. Perfect in every way! Red in color with white lettering and pin stripes. 3 stacks through the hood and a neatly trimmed body! Ken turned the ride over to Ralph Smith for the regular season in 1958. Ralph put together an impressive record in the car at Vineland on asphalt and dirt at Alcyon and Middletown. Thanks, Russ Dodge |

| 11.26.09 | Richard Williams | This photo was taken in front of Williams Auto Parts on Landis Avenue in Vineland, NJ. The car was owned by my grandfather, Neal Williams. From what my father, Ron Williams, has told me, this car went on to Daytona but broke a rocker arm shaft in during the race. |
