Modified. Ford Capri cross flow head with a Stromberg 97 Carb. This was the last season we ran, my dad had cancer so the racing went with him. I never really did anything to warrant being on the same website as the greats of the Northeast but I do thank you. My dad help start Wally Dallenbach in stock car racing in New Jersey. The story goes that dad kept telling Wally that to go straight real fast is fine but it takes skill to turn left at the end and stay and the track. Thank you for this. I guess this is the "other side of the tracks" from George Unfried. Nobody could catch that VW. |
