12/18/06 Kevin Mc Their motto was "stop cryin' try Laffin".  Heard that from a friend who lived there.
12/18/06 George Perkins The year would have to be 1962. That's a 62 Oldsmobile and it says the races were on Sunday starting at 2:30. I'm sure they were nightime races from 63' on.
12/20/06 A fan Just wondering if the pace car is parked in front of Cook's Sunoco on Rte' 18, I'm told that at one time it was like a hub for local racers.

Back in the seventies I worked for the engineering company that layed out the new housing on the Old Bridge Speedway site. Just for the hell of it I did a lap around the track so I could say I drove there. Only "racing" I ever did. This is a great site, keep up the excellent work.
12/20/06 3Wide I know there was a Cook's Sunoco on the northbound side of Rt 18, right across from Loehman's Plaza, but I'm not sure if that's where this was taken.
