| 04/03/06 | Dave Daniels 28D | In 1995 I had the opportunity to work for Kerry Teague at Daytona on his
#51 Lumina. Well, Linda always made her rounds around the garage area, making sure
she didn't miss one single driver or team. So when she stopped by our stall I
couldn't resist in meeting her. Kerry and myself had a nice long chat with her on
just about every topic as Linda is a very educated and worldly person. What was
cool, was,every once in a while she would stop back and hang out with us for awhile.
To make a long story short we miss qualifying so we're stuck watching everyone else race. Toward the end of the 500 Kerry, me, and Linda are hanging in the back of Sterling Marlin's pit. During that time, I'm trying to make a decision on working full time for Kerry in Kannapolis. Here for the majority of the time is Linda in this bright, yellow jump suit, with massive cleavage, just having the time of her life in being who she is. Me, I'm preoccupied in Linda and how I can hook up with her. Needless to say, I wimp out! But the time I spent with her makes for a great memory. She's a class act and always will be! Racing has been very good to me. By the way, I didn't take the job. I came home and won a championship in URC with Gangemi Racing along with Kramer Williamson. |
| 04/03/06 | 3-Wide | Thanks for the comment Dave. I too had an opportunity to meet Linda at a night club in Daytona around 1982. I guess you just expect somebody who looks like that not to have much in the personality department... but Linda had and probably STILL has it all. Real racefan for sure too! |
