(see above). I refer to Allen E. Browns book, " The History of America's Speedways" for the following information. "Hightown - 1/5 mile dirt oval (1951 - 10/17/61) I/5 mile paved oval (5/03/52 - 1960) (aka:Central Jersey Speedwat) (aka: Airport Junction Speedway) Wally Dallenbach Sr. started here 1952. The track site is on the same property as East Windsor Speedway, The site was the former Hightstown Airport. " |
