| Comments: | "Look - up in the sky"... It's a bird.... It's a
plane.... No, actually it's "Flem Man!" Not real sure of this guy's special powers but one thing's for sure, Flem Man has a place in the history books of Flemington. Like Superman, he may have come to us as "a strange visitor from another planet", but I seem to remember Flem Man actually first arriving on the scene as a contestent in the annual "Purple Night" contest and never looked back. Somehow, wearing purple tights and a white cape while being suspended by a wrecker was all the special talent needed to win over the fans of the square. Not really sure of Flem Man's secret identity and even if I knew, I could never devulge it. After all, doesn't every super hero deserve a little privacy?.... |

| 06/16/04 | Lance Huff | I remember Steve Miller Band's "Abbra Caddabbra" playing on the PA system while Flem Man circled the track. I'm sure it was early 80's because I was only 5yrs old in 1980. |
