program is from the third race of the year at the Nazareth 1/2 mile on April
18,1965. The picture was taken a week earlier on April 11, where Bob Rossell edged
out Bob Pickell for his first ever Nazareth win. The picture shows Dick tobias in the A.T. Consoli 54, Al Tasnady in the Piscopo 39, Stan Ploski in the 27, Bill Wimble in the 33, and Wally Dallenbach in the 3. You can also see Tex Enright, wearing his Indian outfit, as he holds the yellow flag and strolls to the side of the track. The program is from the Greg Collins collection. |
