Comment: I wish about 40 years ago I ran around with a truck
and collected some of the used up sheet metal and intercepted it before it
made it's way unceremoniously to the scrapyard. Could you imagine how
much attention the collection above would attract if it was set up at
Motorsports, or at an upcoming mall show? Maybe an old yellow Brenn
#24 coupe body... or a "Black Horse" Gremlin shell... Unfortunately, back in the day when stuff was used up, it just went into a junk pile and eventually, the physical evidence of the creations that roamed the speedway was gone forever. |
