01.09.10 3Wide What a find Cos...  Thanks for keeping this safe and sound for the past 50 years!

I'm sure that this will bring back many great memories for those who visit this page...  I was only there once in 1966 or 67 with my dad, and just preparing this page reminded me of things I had forgotten about that visit to the track...  I was 6 or 7 at the time and had it in my mind that all small tracks were dirt and all big tracks were asphalt... (Keep in mind that I had only been to East Windsor -1/2 mile dirt, and had seen Indy and other tracks in books and new that they were big... and asphalt.)

I remember being confused that it was an asphalt small track, but I think it kinda added to the excitement at being at a new track for the first time...  Felt like it was the "big time"... if you know what I mean...

Like so many other tracks, I wish I had gotten their more often, but at the same time, I'm grateful and glad that dad decided one night to take a ride over to Old Bridge...
01.10.10 Walter Onora I have the same poster hanging up in my room!. To my recollection, this probably goes back to the early 60's. In the early spring, Old Bridge ran combination shows with the ARDC midgets. We would go to Weissglass Stadium on sat nights and to Old Bridge on sunday afternoon. What memories!!
01.10.10 Mike Kent My pop, stubby, talks about flemke all the time. He always says, " that boy was smooth as silk, he could really get around the track."
01.11.10 Ed Duncan That poster was from 1964.Great poster :)
