| Comments: | This is actually a post card that is owned by Vault Visitor Ralph Richards. Although it's not real clear, you can see that the track was a lot narrower then and it looks like there was only seating on the frontstretch. Looks like a great place for a racetrack to me... Nothing around for miles! |

| 09/01/03 | L Talbert | Maybe 1966 or earlier. If you look
close, there is the old pagota on the front or maybe the old stage before it was removed
and put up only during the fair (also, no tires on the inside.) Between the 66
and 67 season the track was widened. It's labor day (today, Sept 1, 2003) and the URC sprint would be there - a 2 day show. This place closing still makes me sick. Flemington really needs a mall - most people try to avoid flemington on the weekend (locals). Great job vault. |
