| 09/20/07 | Mark Yaple | This car was fielded by Bob Soliday from the Bound Brook, NJ area and was only raced several times. It was driven by John Komjati and possibly Bob Turlip. A-1 Performance was in Brick, NJ. Bob Soliday was the head wrench and engine builder on the David Vaughn #99. |
| 09/21/07 | Bob Turlip | Wasn't sure at first, but that is me (8 on the helmet). Bob Soliday, Dave Vaughn (99) and I built an A-1. Front and rear "A" frames Falcon about 75. Had no shifter just two screw drivers welded on the trans (what I'm trying to figure out). Only ran it a few times, fuel line came off and it burnt down (I never moved so fast). After the fire I got it, took the 'A" frames off and put reg straight axles in it and it was my last # 8 Gremlin Bob Turlip |
