Comment from Pete: Here is a picture of the
original Weld car that Jeff Heotzler owned called Hazel. I believe the
photographer is Ralph Corwin. This was from 1985 I believe. Jeff ran the coupe body for about 1/2 year than built a sheetmetal body like everyone else after it got damaged in a wreck probably around 1983. It was the last coupe bodied race car I ever saw. Everyone had Gremlins by then and Heotzler always wanted to be different |

Could this race car be the all time highest feature wining car in dirt Modified racing history ? Their may be more famous cars as the 112 Batmobile, the Kenny Brightbill 19 Pinto. But has anyone documented how many wins and championships this car has compared to any other. |
