| Comments: | If you are a fan of short track racing, and you get the opportunity,
do yourself a favor and talk to one of the true legends of the sport, Ed Farley. Ed
has more stories than the Vault has pictures... like the time he had a front engine
dragster at Flemington... This picture was taken at the very well attended Reading
Fairgrounds County Fair under the Reading Fairgrounds Racing Historical Society
tent. Ed was there with Wyatt Jacobus and Clint Bush who are big time supporters of
our site. They also help to get the great looking #26 to the many different shows
they attend. Look for an announcement in the near future about a big memorabilia
show they are putting together for early November. The show will be held in Glen
Gardner (sp?) about 20 minutes north of the Flemington Speedway off Route 31. Thanks to Ed, Wyatt and Clint for their efforts in preserving the history of the sport. |
