Comment from Thom Levers: I scratchbuilt this model, from memory mostly, to represent the car Richie brought down to Wall Stadium for the '81 Turkey Derby. I remember him trouncing the field until the left rear went down and a certain victory was snatched from him. I believe that same year was the wild finish with him and Geoff Bodine at Martinsville, in a car that looked very similar. Hope you enjoy looking.
