"SuperMODELS"

From Norm:  These model race cars were made by me when I was 17 years old way back in 1963. Two of my favorite drivers of the day at Wall Stadium were modified driver Wally Dallenbach and sportsman driver Dick Lewis. These cars are similar to the ones driven by them at Wall Stadium back in the 60's. After I got married in 1969, these models wound up in a shoe box under our bed for 38 years. A few years ago I decided to fix them up and display them again. There were many broken and missing parts. I put a new engine in the No. 14 and replaced most of the decals on both cars. Some of the products on the decals were probably not even around in 1963. I also added a Wall Stadium back drop just for these pictures. I'm sure there a lot of critics out there that could correct a lot of the flaws in my construction, but remember, I was only 17 when I built these cars 48 years ago. I have many good memories of Wall Stadium and I am glad it has re-opended in 2011 and hopefully will remain open for many years to come.
