12/14/08 | Ned Stites III | Tas was the greatest and the best ambassador for racing there ever was. Every car he drove was a winner. He always had time for the fans and treated you like a friend. Who could ask for more. God bless him! |
12/14/08 | Ralph Richards, Jr. | Will this composite be available to the general public? What a great tribute to a great driver. |
12/14/08 | Ronnie G | Very nice composite of a great driver (IMO). As Ned said, he was a great ambassador for the sport with his fantastic personality. As a child I idolized Al & was proudly able to call him a friend. Thanks for the memories-- Ronnie G |
12/14/08 | Fred Voorhees | Wow, what a great compilation and memorial to one of the greatest drivers of all time! Al Tas was my very first favorite driver and to a little kid in the stands at Flemington....well, he was bigger than life. A true hero if there ever was one! I would also like to know if this would ever be available in poster form. I have a place in my bar room that it would be perfectly at home in. I can start building the frame right away! |
12/15/08 | Roger McCloughan | I agree. What a gentleman racer, track
official, and also co-worker of my dad at the Kuhl Corp. in Flemington. Tas
was almost unbeatable when the "Polecat" was dialed in! This composite is
wonderful and would be a great poster! |
12/15/08 | TOM BURNS | AL TASNADY, ONE OF THE ALL TIME GREATS.

01/24/08 | Joe Paschall | Great picture would like to have one. I was in with the 707 time with my big brother who worked with Paul D. On the 707 which he had many. Spent a lot of nights sleeping in the break room at kollor and son the bb factory in Hatboro where Paul keep the car, I even painted the 707 on one of the big donkeys. |
