Comments: | If you listen carefully, you can still hear Bill Singer say:
"Harry Beeeeeeeeeeeennnn'jamin." What a show he put on. From the drop of the green it was like he was on another level moving inside and outside the other competitors. |

12.24.09 | Chuck Hassler | Is this the sprint car that Harry wrecked and shortened the
wheel base to a midget? IF this is the car, I saw it run at Grandview
several times and boy was that a trip. Had a V8 fuel injected engine in it with a 14 inch right rear. they had some trouble with clogged injectors the first night I saw it run. They had a red flag so they cleaned them and at the green flag he passed the leader Lee Ernshaw like he was on jack stands. Harry was couple of laps down, but it still was great to watch. They ran with Ed Darrels outlaw midgets. The next year they changed the rule and outlawed the engine, even so there were still some unique engine combinations that would show up. If Harry is still alive maybe he has other pictures of the car or could tell a little about this car. (Just not to confuse this car with Midge Millers car this had a full blown Chevy sprint car V8 in it). |

The #0 outlaw midget was not a shortened sprint car
! Harry cut the top bar on both sides so the 355 v8 would fit in the Edmunds
chassis. |
