Comment: Cool angle showing the fans, (seated on the
homestretch of most tracks), the view of open wheel racing. What's really great about this image is that an opening on the left of the cockpit that allows a great view of driver's effort of working the wheel. I appreciate drivers that wear light colored uniforms (or at least have a light colored left sleeve) so that the fans in the stands can see them working the wheel through the corner. It's a much needed part of racing, and if all of the drivers have dark driving suits, its an important, exciting part of the show that unfortunately, has really disappeared from watching open wheel racers. If it could be done safely (fire retardant, and also would fit snuggly as to not interfere with driving), I'd love to sponsor a "3Wide Open Wheel Driving Sleeve" that would be either yellow or white, and would slide up the driver's left arm. Once in place, everyone would be able to see the effort the driver's put into their cars, but being able to see that left arm! I think if I could find a sponsor for the idea, and have their logo on it.... it's a winner (Maybe somebody like Rock Auto.... or Lucas.... or whoever the series sponsor is.... Have all drivers in the series wear "the sleeve!" Kidding aside, it would be pretty cool for fans to be able to see all drivers working the wheel again.... |
