I think this photo is from 1977, or 1978. This was the first super to run laps in the 17 second range at the big O. Jim brought out a rear engine 8Ball in 1980, and was banned by Oswego at the end of the season so he went Sprint car racing. He came back for the classic and cleaned house. Sadly he passed away in a Modified in a turn 2 crash. |
