Comments: | The #9 is Greg Leffler (not Jason's dad - thanks RJJKSHIVE). The car was built by Paul Leffler. Also pictured is "Ole Bub" Bubby Jones in the Seibert Olds car at Flemington 1977. (Comment provided by Bob G with additional info supplied by RJJKSHIVE)) |

05/08/03 | RJJKSHIVE | THE YEAR IS 1978,SAME NIGHT TOBY DIED.ONLY TIME USAC SPRINTS RAN THERE. I DON'T THINK GREG IS JASON'S DAD, ALSO, PAUL LEFFLER, NOT GREG, WAS THE CAR BUILDER |
05/10/03 | 3-Wide | (Thanks for the info RJJKSHIVE - I'm not sure, about the car builder, so I'll let it ride and see what others offer. Thanks -3Wide) |
05/14/03 | Bob G | I stand corrected- it was Paul Leffler -which I believe is Greg's brother. I heard a commentator say that Jason's dad raced Sprint cars so I figured it was Greg (they certainly don't look alike though). |
04/15/05 | Chris Pedersen | Paul was Greg's father . They would later win the USAC championship together. Paul was one of the most hard headed men I ever knew. |
02/04/09 | Cynthia Shone | I am one of Paul's daughters, Cindy. My Dad was a man whom I respect greatly and he loved racing. Some viewed him as hard headed but he was very good at what he did because he knew what he was doing! Jason is not Greg's son. |

Was like a brother to me he
stayed with us in Westwood Indiana. I worked on TQ and was at almost all
races. Dick Northam drove it . I built Crosleys motors and 110 cid Offys 1 too .
Got so I could set up car by notes. |
