Comments: Comment:  Looks like the #23 runs out of room on the high side of the #7 and takes a hard shot into the unforgiving wooden boards of Flemington, shearing off the right front wheel assembly, causing the car to dig in and roll over.  Good to see the driver climbing out of the wreckage with the help of the Milford Fire Company Rescue Squad.

11.18.23 Rick Shive Jim Maxson told me that Jack Adair (driving his Dad Don's number 7), ran Poole up the track into the fence. Don was really pissed at Jack. Don and crew helped Poole load the car, 1974. Jim would later become a driver and car owner in URC and KARS.
11.19.23 John Mc I vaguely remember Jack Adair in a modified.
11.19.23 Jim Maxson Yes Dad & Jack had both. I ended up with the modified. I was told if i can fix it it was mine.

Joe Thanks for posting the entire sequence. I only ever saw three top photos of this wreck. I have the URC year book with this crash. It was a very long ride home with Dad and Jack yelling at each other. We only broke the W-link on the car. A wreck that should have never happened. Emotions sometimes get the best of everyone.
