| Comments: | Comment: One of my all time favorite cars, with driver Dave Vaughn behind the wheel at Flemington. The stance... the simple but neat lettering... and the driver steering form the backseat all pinned the cool meter for me. I remember this car being orange at one point and then silver at a different time. (Not sure which came first...) I also remember Dave battling with Les Katona for the lead between turns 1 & 2 and if I recall, the #99 ended up on his roof.... Not sure if I ever saw the car race after that, but then again, it was over 45 years ago! |
