Comments:

Comment for above photo:  One of Bob's cars said "The Sting" on it... If not this one, than it was one of the other purple #16's.  Car looks like a Grant King, but I think is a copy.  Paul Rochelle also drove the purple #16 at times from what I remember.

07.13.19 3-Wide I remember Bob having a bad flip on the backstretch at East Windsor...
07.13.19 Roger Laureno The cage collapsed  on that thing (different car than in the picture) and Bob was fortunate to get out with only the injuries he received.
07.14.19 John Mc The car that flipped at EWS was an ex Tighe Scott car.  The car in the picture above is of a Harraka/King copy. Notice style of lettering and placement of certain names are similar to the Ferraiuolo 73, Bob Smith did bodywork for them and in fact may have had a hand in the 73 resto.

As John Mc said, this is a Harraka copy of a King. It's not Bob driving and I really think it might be Newt Hartman. It doesn't look like Sandy  (Paul Rochelle.)  Bob did work for A. Ferraiuolo Jr and Sons during the 70's both in the construction co and race team.
