Comments: Comment:  One of my favorite body styles of all time, the 70 - 72 Monte Carlo.  Driver Bill Kosch drove this '72 Monte at OCFS in the early 80's.  Looks like he's trying to get around a '72 Chevelle in the middle picure.  (Man do I miss those stock bodies from this era...  Monte's Chevelle's, Charger's... About the only place you'll see them anymore is at a street rod show or on the stage at Barrett Jackson.)

Bill's nephew Jason Kosch (Joe Kosch's son) keeps the family racing tradition going forward and has run in the sportsman division at New Egypt over the past few years and I'm told will be running at OCFS later this season.

Bill and I go way back. We worked on that car and considering how low buck it was and how little we knew at the time (look at the tires!) it was pretty fast. I’ve always felt that if Bill had ever been in decent equipment he would have gone somewhere in racing
