Comments: Comment:  Ferriauolo Kings at Syracuse.  Rare picture showing both beautiful Ferriauolo King cars together, along with Gary Balough, Billy Osmun and car builder Grant King.  From what I've learned, the newer car (on right) had the exhaust exiting up on the door, requiring the door to be notched.  It also had the horizontal "indents" in the upper quarter panel compared to the up and down indents as you can see here next to Grant King's right arm.

03/25/08 Larry F. Thats Glenn Fitzcharles on the drive-on truck. Owner, Tony Ferraiuolo also in the picture. You are right, it is 1978 Syracuse.
01/26/09 clay benfield Without a doubt the king mods were the best looking mods (in my humble race loving, modern day modified body hating opinion!) ever to turn a wheel.  If only the car builders of today would wise up and junk all that hideous sheeetmetal

09.08.10 CHIP The Cars of today all look the same, back then each car had its own look that's what made the racing fun to watch..

Joe the King car on the left has a 1973 Gremlin body on it and the one on the right has a 1971 or 1972 body on it. That is the difference in the body styles. I found that out in looking for the correct body on the Schneider car.

11.20.16 3Wide I think Larry or Anthony had told me that a while ago, but I forgot which was which.  Also, it's a little counter intuitive in that the "first" #73 King car had the newer body (1973 Gremlin Body) and the 2nd #73 King car had the older body ('71 or '72 Gremlin.)  Thanks for the info Gary.
