That's the Bob & Adam Schwegel #77 out of Millville,N.J.. A long time Charlie Angerman ride dating back to the flathead days @ Vineland, P-ville and Atco. Osmun picked up the ride when the Schwegels joined Tri-State. Billy asked them to return to Flemington/Windsor circuit, when they said no he went on to drive the #81. Roy Kincade took over the seat of the #77. When Tri-State failed, Bob and Adam quit racing, ending 20+ years of ownership. They sold a 3 window coupe they had ready to go to a concern who placed Elton Hildreth in the seat thus Elton's last car was red instead of the standard orange and black. |
