This would definitely be Bobby Bottcher in the 666 at Harmony in 1971 during the Tri-State years. That is Dave Pace spinning in the 125. You can tell by that roof mirror opening thing on top. I have pictures of Pace and Bottcher in this version of cars from Camera and Autograph day in 1971. The inside spray paint in the 666 shown here in B&W is a clue. My pics from ’71 show that light green spray paint in the numbers. All the other years of 666’s show just white in the numbers. |

Seems to me that I recall before Bottcher changed his car # to 666, I believe he drove the # 9 car. Some of my best memories from my childhood was watching the races at Harmony Speedway!!! We didn’t live too far from the Race track so it only took about 10 minutes to get there. I remember Will Cagle, Peppy Fernandez, car # X9; the # 44 of Rags Carter and, of course, the # 2 of Frankie Schneider. |
