01.24.10 Ed Duncan I just found an add in AARN dated May 13,1970.It stated Modified for sale 3Bs car # 87 427 Chevy with 38 Plym. coupe body with extra frame with 37 Chevy coupe body.  Late fuel injection & carb setups.  Buick brakes & extra hubs.  GMC truck car carrier with built in tool & parts boxes, loaded with extra parts.  Tire rack with extra tires & plenty of Ray Cook wheels.  The price for everything $ 3,800.00 you could call Bob, Bud or Bill for info.

Cousin Tom here… I cannot forget the good times when Dad, Bob and Bill worked on this car… I used to sit on the front tire and watch the flames exiting the short exhaust pipes, cut the tires with a hot dual handled knife… Dialing in the cam timing etc… Blew up my mini bike at Middletown by putting racing fuel into the gas tank… some of my best memories with Dad and his friends Uncle Bob and Bill…
