shortly after this season/also i believe this car john is driving is charlie jarzombeks vega which was known as jaws! another car outlawed by nascar but able to run at wall-later run as the 23/driven by john baker as a mod-i also had charlies old coupe in the same building at the same time (imagine havin both cars now)/believe the vega was totaled-at least the coupe lives!/ |

five day before, he captured his first victory at the then asphalt New Egypt Speedway, and less than two week later, won at Wall Township Speedway. Year later, won the 300 Lap Garden State Classic, in this car. |
