07/09/04 | JOE BOKROS | WAYNE WAS ONE OF THE LAST TO RUN THE FORD FLATHEAD MOTOR. I LIKED HIM BECAUSE HE RAN THAT FORD !!! |
07/10/04 | JerseyJim90 | You are correct, this is Wayne Covert. I went to school with Wayne. I don't know his whereabouts now. I know he and his family had a Buick dealership located in Neshanic. |
10/11/05 | Dennis Quinn | Hi, Bucky is still in the Neshanic area. He is doing well. I played baseball with him through the years. He drove the 10b and 10c, winning the sportsman championship at Flemington in I believe 1964. I am going to tell him about this picture next time I see him. |
08/13/06 | Dave Derkacz | Yep! That is Wayne "Bucky" Covert. Being a life long resident of
Hillsborough / Neshanic, I spent many a day around town. Wayne's father, George, had a
John Deere dealership in town that is now a shop that specializes in old Buick
restorations. Wayne used to keep his old 10b and 10c cars in a garage just outside of town. Most recently, he worked at the Belle Mead garage in the parts department. I believe he just retired this year. |
